Caren Kimbarovsky has been teaching for over twenty years, thirteen of those years in the technology field. Currently, she is a Technology Literacy Coach at Libertyville School District 70. She has had the opportunity to implement technology in grades K-8 in all subject areas. She has been instrumental in implementing interactive whiteboard lessons, Google Apps for 6-8 students, iPads in the middle school and ipod devices in other classrooms to promote 21st Century learning. Caren has given workshops as to how to incorporate technology tools in classrooms using tools such as Skype, Above and Beyond Interactive Whiteboards, Pixie, Learn360, Google Docs, iLife, ActivInspire, PowerGradeBook, Web 2.0 and more. She is a Google Certified Teacher and Tech4Learning Innovative Educator. She is passionate about using technology as a tool to learn and shares this passion with her three kids and husband.
