Reading Intervention Strategies using iPads K-6
Attendees in this workshop will examine how traditional methods of reading intervention can be augmented by specific mobile apps that address letter recognition, phonemic awareness and sight words. We will also examine how technology can transform the experience as students use iPads to communicate, collaborate, and demonstrate learning. The information presented is based on a year-long study by elementary reading specialists who were part of a pilot group.
